Powertec’s N Male to SMA Male feeder cables are manufactured from high performance PTL-400 coaxial cable. PTL-400 is a medium-sized 10.29 mm diameter cable designed for wireless transmission systems up to 6 GHz.
This is one of the most popular cable types, used to connect roof-mounted antennas that have an N Female interface down into a repeater or 4G modem, or any other device with an SMA Female interface. It also makes for a general-purpose RF cable that can be connected to a range of wireless equipment using a suitably matched jumper or patch cable.
Unlike larger connectors, the SMA Male connector’s 8 mm diameter allows the cable assembly to be easily fed through roof penetrations. The cable is very durable, designed in Queensland with the harsh Australian environment in mind.
